Exploring with your Furry Friends
Traveling with dogs opens up new adventures for you as well as your furry friends. Here’s a few ways to make the most of your journey:
- Plan ahead!
Choose dog-friendly activities. Many state & national parks limit where dogs can visit. - Engage with local pet communities.
We stop at least once per day at an off-leash dog park, so our pups can get a few wiggles out. In the US they are listed on google maps and an app called DogPack.- We found that many of the Love’s Truck-stops in the US have fenced areas for off-leash dog play.
- Rest areas have dog friendly areas, so everyone can stretch (make sure to take the poop bags with you).
- Document your travels through a blog or videos to share with friends and family.
